Abstract:
Divisions of the PLSS derived by a number of procedures including: GPS, research of PLSS corners, and closing of Government lots in through the water to create approximate 40 acres divisions (for tax purposes to define the 13 digit property identification number assigned to parcels that fall within the closed approximate 40 acre divisions).
Purpose:
This layer is used by various county departments and in a number of web-based mapping applications.
